How is it done?

A team is put together for each new project from any 3rd world country requesting aid in specific skills or technology area. The members of the team brings a lot of resource to a project - from skills and extensive experience to needed materials or tools for executing a specific task.  Members are generally strong believers in Jesus Christ who also would like to share their faith with their skills recipients. For example, if we were asked to train a group of school science and technology teachers in order to provide them with some basic Office Automation skills, our team members would bring not only skills, but some learning software, books, and relevant tools.

Projects will vary from high technology related to basic agriculture, primary health care and sanitation, to a number of specialized areas where such skills and knowledge would be extremely vital for human welfare and survival in the 21st Century.

Where is it done?

Our team of tent-makers (volunteers who support themselves mostly) targeting each project would be assisted by our office in Project Planning and execution. This involves coordinating travel plans, contacts with receiving people group, or governmental agency overseas, assembling the tools required for the project, getting necessary travel documents and visas and work planning while abroad.

When is it done?

Projects are done several times each year depending on the requests received and the level of support teams with suitable skills level to match those needs.  Over a period, we intent to develop a cycle for when each type of project is executed for different parts of the world (Africa, South East Asia, South America & Mexico, and the Appalachians of the USA).
